Labor Day signifies the end of summer and back-to-school for many. For those fashion conscious, it was once considered the last day to wear white (I remember that “rule” back in the '80s). My son, would say Labor Day is the beginning of football season. While all these events are marked by Labor Day, the true spirit of the holiday, is to recognize as well as provide rest and relaxation for the American workforce. I hope you find time today to do just that. Have a happy and healthy Labor Day!
May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
