When I started blogging, I had no idea what I was doing or what to expect.
I just knew I had a passion for helping people and I had value to offer.
I loved on my readers, and they loved on me back.
That is until I got my first mean comment. And then another. And another.
At some point, when your online presence grows big enough, mean people will find you and, well, be mean to you.
To say, “I wasn’t prepared,” is an understatement.
I had to decide how I would handle the mean people on the internet when they were in “my space.”
I also decided to be even more intentional with what I put online for the world to read.
I am not perfect.
I have hurt people with my actions and my words, in real life and online.
However, at the end of the day, my heart’s desire is to glorify God and be a light, wherever I go, even online.
