207.
That's the number of Amazon orders we placed in 2018.
It doesn't include the orders we placed for groceries and other “must have them right now” items via the Amazon Prime Now mobile app.
Our first order of the year was on January 3, 2018. It was for trash bags, dog food, and wind-up chomping teeth.
Similar but not the same, we also bought dog poop bags, coffee filters, and emoji beach balls in January.
As I scroll through our orders for the year, I see lots of toilet paper, books, and underwear (both men's and toddler sizes).
We also seem to buy a lot of toys, essential oil accessories (but not essential oils), and mailing supplies.
And axes. Eleven axes to be exact. Along with a set of throwing knives. Don't ask.
Tom went through a phase of trying a bunch of men's hair loss products and me all different styles of false eyelashes.
I love that Amazon gives you the “buy it again” option on orders.
Makes it super-easy to re-order things like contact solution, paper towels, and batteries. They are a no-brainer.
So here are my Top 10 Amazon “Buy It
Boring that is.
1. Glass Straws
Saving turtles in Minneapolis with these purple glass straws. They match my purple drinking jars. Although, they were not purchased in 2018.
2. Dice
Take notice of the lashes, we'll get to those in a moment. In the meantime, let's talk about these purple dice. I'm bonkers for Bunco, and at anytime may bust out dice and challenge you to a roll. No worries, if you don't have your own, I've got you covered.
3. Pens
Way back in my personal trainer days, we tracked client workouts on triplicate forms. These purple gel pens were my jam and often went missing (I'm looking at you Nate Cermak). For everyday writing, I use purple felt-tip pens and for sending happy mail to our HLWEO team, I use ultra-fine permanent purple markers.
4. Computer Cover
A few years ago, my friend Kristin (who gives the best gifts), gave me a purple cover for my MacBook Pro. I loved it so much, that when it cracked, I bought a new one.
5. False Lashes
After wearing lash extensions for well over a year I decided to save some dough and give false lashes a go. I tried several different brands and styles and settled on these. Don't forget the lash glue.
6. Sunglasses
This is my coffee-drinking, card-playing, 7 am
7. Family Game
The Romero's are game players. We can play games for hours upon hours upon hours. On the other hand, while Tom enjoys playing games with my family, he doesn't usually have the longevity. I was so surprised when he bought this game to play over Christmas. Well-played Tom. Well-played!!!
8. Hair Color
Short hair. Don't care. I keep my pixie, purple, with semi-permanent hair dye in the shades Purple Rain and Virgin Pink. While the product is not listed in the Skin Deep Database, the ingredients are — with an average score of 3.
9. Blessings Book
This book was a gift from three special ladies. I've read it twice daily for well over a year. It has made such a profound difference in my life that I have ordered it many times to gift as well.
10. Hammock
I received the purple hammock pictured at our company convention as part of our Diamond swag. It's a double-wide. However, after Tom and I swung (and literally stuck) together on a hot summer day, we ordered a hammock for him in green. If you've never hammocked, it's one of the most relaxing experiences ever.
