Since moving downtown a month ago, we've been looking forward to today — the first home game for our Minnesota Vikings. Not only did we have two tickets to the game, we were able to walk the 7 blocks or so to the field, on a very beautiful early fall day. Lots of people in purple. We were short a ticket, which was no big deal, I just walked with the guys to the stadium and dropped them off, then walked home. Our team hasn't done so hot this season, but it was still fun to be among the festivities leading up to the game with others showing their purple pride.
