Hamburger helper was introduced in 1971….the year I was born. I like to think, before the processed food industry created this fake food, if you wanted to “help” your hamburger, you piled it high with vegetables. Healthy, nutrient dense vegetables. This is one of my favorite meals….I call them beef bowls. Just grass fed ground beef, spices and veggies. We have a 1/4 cow coming this weekend from Hay Creek Farm, which includes 48# of the most delicious grass fed grass finished ground beef you'll ever taste. I foresee a lot of beef bowls in my future. Check out today's recipe for a healthy Hamburger Helper.
