We sent the kids to my parents house for the weekend, got all gussied up and headed out to The Capital Grille for dinner. Our healthy dinner included lots of red meat and heavy sauces! The bread basket, starchy sides and desserts didn't stand a chance. They are no comparison to all the deliciousness low-carb dining has to offer.
At the end of our meal, our waiter was curious why all the pictures. Tom told him about this blog and the name of it. He kind of chuckled and repeated “Healthy”, huh? You bet! No gluten, no sugar, no carbs, nothing processed, REAL FOOD. On the way home, we stopped at our local wine bar for a glass of wine (half a glass for me) and ended our night with 90% Lindt Dark Chocolate on the couch!
This meal kept up going for nearly 18 hours. We finished eating around 7pm (except for the dark chocolate and wine) on Saturday evening, got up Sunday morning went for a 5 mile walk, went to church and then met my parents for lunch at 1pm.
