Being the tequila buying novices we are, we saw a pretty box, did a quick google search, saw it was a good price and a decent review and it was ours
Sugar-Free, Low-Carb Margarita for One
- Juice from 1/2 Lime (1 oz.)
- Juice from 1/2 Orange (2 oz.)
- 1.5 oz. Tequila
- 1 drop Lime Essential Oil (optional)
- 1 drop Orange Essential Oil (optional)
- 2 packets Stevia
- Crushed Ice
- 6 oz. Sparkling Water (lime or orange)
- Salt for the Rim (optional)
In a drinking glass add lime juice, orange juice, tequila, essential oil (if using), and stevia packets. Stir. Add crushed ice. Top with sparkling water.
Give or take a few…..this is 135 calories, 0g fat, 10g carbs, 0g protein, 14g alcohol
For comparison's sake
A Margarita made with Margaritaville Margarita Mix (the second ingredient on the label is high fructose corn syrup) and 1.5 oz. Tequila…..210 calories, 0g fat, 27g carbs (26g sugar), 0g protein, 14g alcohol.
